Welcome to Caceres Medical Group

A Practice Built on Experience and Compassion

Caceres Medical Group (CMG) opened its doors in La Palma, California, on February 11, 1993. The small staff consisted of only three people: Dr. Caceres (Physician), his wife Fe (Back Office Nurse), and a young lady named April (Front Office/Billing). The office was located on the corner of Valley View St. and La Palma Avenue, and it was open Monday through Saturday.
CMG initial patient base largely consisted of Internal Medicine patients. In 1994, Buena Park Heart Center was founded to provide comprehensive care to patients with cardiovascular conditions. As the patient base continued to grow and the small office in La Palma was no longer suitable, a plot for a new building was purchased in 2002 on Knott Avenue and construction for a two-story building was completed in 2004. The building was equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostics, 10 examination rooms, and three providers on the CMG team

Internal Medicine

Dr. Caceres completed his internal Medicine residency at the University of
Illinois. He received his training in Cardiology at Washington University in St.
Louis and completed a fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at the University
of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
